This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. Orexin is considered to have a function in regulating wakefulness and sleep because orexin A was decreased remarkably in the cerebrospinal fluid of patients with narcolepsy, a sleep disorder. This product is an ELISA kit for simple measurement of orexin A in human cerebrospinal fluid as well as rat cerebrospinal fluid, serum and plasma. The kit does not cross-react with orexin B
